Claire Cook - Headteacher

I live on Popes Hill with my husband, two cats and a mad
Springer Spaniel called Bailey. I have two grown up children
called Thomas and Lucy who live in Gloucester. I enjoy
walking the dog in the woods on Popes Hill and cooking
new and varied recipes. Holidays are very special to me and
as well as travelling abroad I visit Dinas just outside
Fishguard.

Mr Richard Clowes- Year 1 and 2 Teacher
Mr Richard Clowes joined us in January 2012.

Mrs Karla Broady - Year 5 and 6 Senior Teacher

Mrs Broady is the class teacher for Alders class. She is the
subject leader for Literacy and History. She is also the Special
Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo).
Mrs Broady has worked at the school since 2004.
Every Wednesday, after school, Mrs Broady teaches Dance.

Mrs Sarah Aston - Year 3 and 4 Teacher

Mrs Sarah Aston is the class teacher for Willows class. She is
the subject leader for R.E., Art and Design, Design and
Technology, ICT and Music.
She has worked at the school for 4 and a half years. She
teaches gym club on Thursday after school and teaches us
how to use the gym equipment.

Miss Gemma Montgomery - Reception Teacher

Miss Gemma Montgomerry teaches Acorns class. She has
worked at the school for 4 years. She is subject leader for
Science, Geography and Assessment.
She runs the Cookery club after school.

Mrs Linda Tetlow - School Administrator
I have been the Administrator at Newnham St Peter's since
2006. I have been involved with the Comenius project and
have travelled around Europe with it. I live in Cinderford with
my three daughters - Bethany, Rebecca & Rachel. I enjoy
many outdoor sports & activities. I love spending time walking
in the woods in and around the Forest of Dean.

Mrs Lynne Dallow - Teaching Assistant and Parental Support Advisor

Mrs Lynne Dallow is a Teaching Assistant in Alders class and
has worked at the school for 15 years. She enjoys doing Art
throughout key stage 2. She is responsible for Global Schools,
Fairtrade school and the Comenius project.

Mrs Jo Harris - Teaching Assistant and Parental Support Advisor

Mrs Jo Harris works in Alders and has worked here for 14
years.
She lives in Blakeney, with her son Jamie, and husband John,
her cat Blossom, and dog Monty.
She is interested in sport, especially running and football.
She is the school Parental Support Advisor and Pastoral
Support Advisor for the children. She helps with school council, runs cooking club,
dance and choir, and is a First Aider.

Mrs Sue Pearson - Teaching Assistant

I live in Bullo Pill just outside Newnham with my family, a
kitten, a budgie and a goldfish. I love spending time outside in
the garden growing vegetables and flowers. I am very crafty
and like nothing more than making things! I am a very active
member of Girlguiding doing Brownies, Guides and more
recently Rangers. My family visit Porthtowan, Cornwall every
year and camp near to the beach, we enjoy walking and
making huge sandcastles.

Mrs Margaret Walford - Teaching Assistant

Mrs Walford has worked at the school since it opened. She
lives in Lydbrook with her husband and has two grown-up
children, two grandchildren and two dogs.
She will be working in Mrs Broady's class or sometimes with
individuals on a one-to-one basis.

Mrs Anita Bridgwood - Teaching Assistant and Dinner Supervisor

Mrs Bridgwood has worked at the school for almost two years
and works with the Acorns class. She ensures that the
children enjoy a safe and happy playtime whilst at school.
During Enrichment on a Wednesday afternoon, Mrs Bridgwood
is currently doing PSHE with Key stage 1.

Mrs Anne Handscombe - Dinner Supervisor

Mrs Handscombe is one of our Lunchtime Supervisors. She is
very cheerful and will serve you a delicious lunch. You will
also see her in the playground when you are playing exciting
zoned playground games.
