School Council

Our aim this year is to create more links with the local community.

We would like to do this by being active members of the village and by inviting our community into the school to see what exciting activities we do here.

We are keen to raise money for local charities by doing fund raising events.

We have been nominated to represent pupils and to allow them to have a say on how the school is run.

Each week we aim to put up posters with spaces for suggestions on it.

We will collect them each week and put the ideas to consideration during our meetings.

Pupils can speak to their Council representative or t o the Chair of School Council about their ideas.

School council is about helping the school. It is run by Mrs Bridgwood on a Friday afternoon. We go to the library for our meetings.

We discuss what we think is best for the school and how to make it better. It is a very important job.

Who is on school council?

There are two school councillors from each year group. The councillors are

The chair of the School Council is Charlie Moir.
