Welcome

Welcome to Newnham St Peter’s C of E Primary School

Welcome to Newnham St Peter’s Church of England School.

Newnham-St Peter's is a rural school  with 122 pupils situated in the beautiful Forest of Dean.

At Newnham-St -Peter’s we are proud of our strong Christian ethos which underpins everything we do   ensuring Christian Values are at the heart of school life.  By' learning together' and 'achieving forever' we support all our children to be the very best they can be: academically, personally and physically. We offer a curriculum that is broad, balanced and engaging. We are rightly proud of our children's many achievements including several sporting successes.

As a school, we  have a great  team spirit  that includes– teaching staff, support staff, governors, pupils,  parents, carers, the local churches and wider community.

We hope that our website gives you a picture of life at our school but we welcome visitors, so if you would like to come and see for yourself please contact us to arrange a visit.

Thank you for visiting!

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
Hello and a very warm welcome from the Governing Body at Newnham St Peter’s Church of England School.

We are a very committed and active Governing Body. As well as fulfilling our duties by supporting and challenging the Head Teacher and Senior Management Team, we also monitor activities and progress in school. We enjoy being involved in day to day events. All the teaching staff, support staff and governors work together with a common ethos founded on our core values of honesty, trust, tolerance and patience.  The children in our care will be motivated, creative learners who achieve personal success and have respect for themselves, their communities in modern Britain, and the wider world.

We aim to provide a safe and vibrant learning environment in which all children can reach their full potential and have an enjoyable experience in this great school. As parents, grandparents and carers, you are very much a part of the whole school community and your opinions and comments are very valuable to us.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries, suggestions, or general feedback for the school, and please use ParentView on a regular basis.
