An £85,000 appeal has been launched to help disabled four-year-old Archie Crowther, from Quedgeley, fulfil his dream to dance.
Lively Archie suffers from cerebral palsy but he never lets his condition get him down - and he always has a beaming smile on his face.
He’s at his happiest when Strictly Come Dancing is on the telly and he can stand jigging along to the music - wishing he could cast aside his mobility frame and jive like the celebs on the screen.
And maybe one day soon he will be able to do just that - for specialist surgery is available in the US which could enable him to walk, play football and dance just like all his friends.
The School council chose to support Archie with their first fund raising event this year. Archie loves Superheroes so the children dressed up as their favourite Superhero.
Funds raised so far total £136. A fantastic sum.
