Science-Keeping Healthy

As part of science week Alders have been learning how to keep healthy. 

They have learnt about the heart; what it does and how to look after it.

They practised taking their pulse and worked out their average resting pulse rate.

They then designed an investigation to find out which activity would raise their pulse rate the most.

Here they are taking part in a range of activities that include: lying down, sit-ups, press-ups, jogging and jumping jacks.
